The name of the college is very close connected to the history of Riga and one of its heroes - Bishop Albert, who opened a first Riga school - the Dome school.

Our college was established in year 2001, when Riga celebrated its 800th anniversary, and thus was named in honor of Bishop Albert, the establisher of the first school in Riga.

Today the Alberta College is an accredited educational institution, which gives an opportunity to gain the first level of the highest professional education.

The average age of the Alberta college students is 25 years. It means, that here study both 20 year olds and 40 year and older students. Those who want to learn of any age are helped to integrate into the study process by both preparation courses in English and Mathematics, and individual approach to every student during the studies.

College organizes courses, practical seminars and trainings, as well as practical studying conferences for actual themes.
